As power prices in the Philippines continue to soar, homeowners are now on the lookout for ways to cut their energy consumption.
Aside from restricting their own usage of electricity, consumers have also started to hunt for appliances and other fixturessuch as lighting, refrigerators and airconditionersthat can promise energy savings despite being traditionally energy guzzlers.

According to company CEO Jojo Concepcion, the Carrier XPower Inverter has been a hit among many homes and light commercial establishments for the significant savings brought by its technology.

The Carrier Designer Series and Carrier i-Cool are two of the most acclaimed models in Carriers window room air-conditioner (WRAC) line, with their set of cooling and energy-saving features. But what puts these WRACs in a league of their own is the 8-in-1 air filter system that the company claims to be the best in its class. The filter can trap harmful fungi and dust particles, filter out smoke and odors, kill viruses and neutralize free radicals that can harm the skin.
The filter system includes a Catechin filter, which has deodorization and anti-bacterial properties; a special Vitamin C filter, which can neutralize free radicals and keep the skin healthy; an Anti-Mold filter that removes toxic molds and fungi; a Zeolite filter for removing smoke and odors; and a Super Sterilizer Filter that harnesses bio enzyme, sasa and super gingko to keep you safe from harmful viruses and bacteria.
Energy savings
The XPower model, aside from giving its users as much as 53 percent in energy savings, also boasts an advanced Filter System, which combines the latest Nano Silver filtration technology, and can breakdown harmful microbes.
